The iVolunteer Philippines’ staff, for the fifth straight year, took part in the annual Brigada Eskwela last May 25th. This time, at the La Huerta Elementary School (LHES) in Las Piñas.

Just a few days ahead of the 2019 class opening, some of our members spent the last weekend of May helping the teachers of LHES prep their classrooms and new entrance gate for the incoming batch 2019.

It wasn’t just us, though, since throughout that Saturday morning, there were visitors and volunteers who came in and lent a hand in cleaning and painting the school premise. The iVolunteer staff, for their part, took turns in refurbishing the classroom doors and painting the entrance area and communal sink of LHES.

We’re all in this together

Aside from actively bridging the gap between volunteers and non-profits, iVolunteer Philippines also ensures that everyone across the organization gets to do their part in shaping a better and sustainable Philippines.

In light of this, we’d like to invite some of you for a chance to be part of the iVolunteer family through an orientation that will be held this 6th of July at the J.Co, Paseo Center in Makati. We are looking for volunteer ambassadors who will be part of our drive to engage and educate more volunteers in the months and years to come.

iVolunteer is 100% powered by volunteers themselves. So, call on your friends and join us for a chat, and get to know more about iVolunteer Philippines. For the complete list of positions available, click here.
