The third quarter of 2026 was a significant milestone for iVolunteer. As we celebrated our 17th anniversary, we watched our community bridge islands, plant seeds of change, and stitch together hope. Behind every number in this report is a volunteer who chose to show up and make a practical difference.

Quarter 3 2026 By the Numbers

Thanks to the continuous effort of our community, we were able to achieve the following milestones:

  • 4,868 volunteers mobilized
  • 631,409 volunteer hours rendered
  • 43 organizations supported
  • 465 events completed

Mobilizing Across the Country: From Manila to Davao

While Metro Manila gathered for the GO! Volunteer Expo 2026 – Manila at SM North EDSA and engaged 18,000 interested visitors, our Davao volunteers were on the ground at the Amihan sa Dahican: Balud sa Paglaom event in Mati City, doing a coastal cleanup. Seeing our communities in Manila and Mindanao mobilizing at the exact same time was a powerful reminder that the Filipino spirit of service knows no boundaries. Corporate Champions & Community Action

Together with our corporate partners, our collaborations resulted in tangible, on-the-ground support.

  • Arsenal Content Marketing: We kicked off our partnership on July 1 with an awareness and education session, featuring iVolunteer’s JB Tan, JC Penaflor, and Raph Elorpe. They quickly took action in July, sending volunteers to Rodriguez, Rizal to plant Santol, Guyabano, and Narra trees.
  • Google Philippines: On August 6, Googlers tapped into their creative side by making beautiful dolls from scrap linens (retaso). This initiative provided livelihood opportunities for the amazing mothers of Project PEARLS from Smokey Mountain. These handmade dolls were officially turned over to the children of Cottolengo Filipino Inc. in Rodriguez, Rizal on August 23.
  • Great Deals E-Commerce Corp: In September, we were thrilled to join the Pusong GDEC Volunteer Fair to celebrate the company’s 9th Anniversary and encourage its employees to start volunteering

Our environmental advocates and NGO network were also on the move. From August 24 to 26, upon the invitation of Tambayan, we joined the Philippine Misereor Partnership Inc. (PMPI) for the Rights of Nature (RoN) Training of Speakers and Educators. Held at Assumption College of Davao, the three-day intensive gathered 35 participants from 14 NGOs and the academe, equipping them to champion and mobilize grassroots support for local environmental policies.

The celebrations within our network continued as we joined the SOS Children’s Village of Davao for their 45th Anniversary on September 12, and the 5th Anniversary of Animal Empathy Philippines on September 18. The following day, September 19, volunteers gathered for the Tara Linis Tayo – International Coastal Cleanup Day 2026 for a massive community river cleanup in Rodriguez, Rizal.

We also took time this quarter to touch base with our own teams and partners on July 11. We kicked off the morning by reconnecting with 16 of our Partner NGOs during our virtual Partners Kumustahan, discussing upcoming projects and how we can deepen our impact together. Later that afternoon, we transitioned into our Mid-Year General Assembly, gathering our Manila and Davao communities together in one virtual space.

Looking Ahead: Anniversaries and Expansions

September 26 officially marked iVolunteer Philippines’ 17th Anniversary! iVees from both Manila and Davao celebrated this milestone through various activities that fostered our core volunteer spirit and strengthened our internal community.

To further help us navigate and better understand the changing needs of our volunteers, we officially launched the 2026 Bayanihan Pulse survey (Answer the survey here.)

Looking toward the end of the year, we officially launched our holiday campaign iVolunTree 2026 carrying the core message: “Tara, magbigay. Tara, mag-volunteer. Tara, maging Bayani ngayong Pasko!”. You may read more about this initiative through this link.

As our communities in Manila and Mindanao continue to grow, we are excited to announce our next big step: Cebu. We have officially put out the call for volunteers for this expansion and we cannot wait for our partners and volunteers to join us in this exciting new chapter.

Thank you for 17 years of growing together to empower every Filipino to volunteer. Let’s finish 2026 stronger than ever!
