As we step into 2026, we look back at a transformative year of service and look forward to continuing the work that matters most.

Our 2025 Impact at a Glance

As we reflect on 2025 from the vantage point of this new year, we’re filled with gratitude for what we accomplished together. Throughout the year, iVolunteer Philippines mobilized 11,762 dedicated volunteers who registered through our platform and connected with their preferred NGOs for meaningful community engagement. These passionate individuals contributed their time and skills across 1,106 volunteer events, showcasing the continued momentum of the volunteer movement nationwide. Through these collaborative efforts, volunteers generated an impressive 358,830 volunteering hours, addressing critical needs across education, environmental conservation, health, and social welfare sectors. The year also saw generous supporters contribute 382,580 pesos in donations, further strengthening our collective ability to create positive change in communities across the Philippines.

As 2026 unfolds, we carry forward the lessons learned, relationships strengthened, and momentum built throughout 2025. The work continues, and we’re more committed than ever to expanding the culture of volunteerism across our nation.

Campaign Wrap-Up: Tara! Volunteer Tayo!

To close out the year’s momentum, the Tara! Volunteer Tayo! campaign served as a powerful example of what happens when awareness, access, and activation come together. Across the campaign, we completed 7 events, 4 in Manila and 3 in Davao, expanding opportunities for participation across regions. Our campaign push reached 178,000 people through our digital platforms, translating online engagement into real-world action: 2000 sign-ups, 1164 show-ups, and 8,500 pesos gained as part of the program. Beyond the numbers, the campaign’s most important outcome was community-building and welcoming new volunteers into the movement, giving them a first “yes,” and helping them take the step from interest to participation.

DestiNasyon: Finding Your Advocacy

December brought us to one of our most anticipated annual traditions—DestiNasyon: Finding Your Advocacy, now in its sixth year. This year’s event held special significance as we celebrated both National Volunteer Month and the Yuletide season with a theme that resonated deeply: “Voices of Hope.” This theme highlighted the power of volunteers to serve as beacons of light for the Philippines, particularly important as we closed out a year marked by both challenges and triumphs. We were honored to host this signature event in both Manila and Davao, ensuring that volunteers across the country could participate in this journey of discovery. The heart of DestiNasyon has always been helping individuals identify the causes that speak to their souls and the advocacies they’ll support not out of obligation, but from genuine passion.

To facilitate this discovery, we invited advocacy leaders and experts who generously shared their knowledge and experience with attendees. These speakers and panelists offered practical insights on how to discover ways to make an impact on society, contribute meaningfully to nation-building, and most importantly, find the advocacy that resonates with their personal values and experiences. The conversations that emerged during DestiNasyon were profound. Participants left not just inspired, but equipped with concrete pathways to channel their desire to serve into sustained, meaningful action.

As we move through 2026, may the DestiNasyon participants translate their newfound clarity into active volunteer engagement with our partner NGOs.

Start Your Adventure: Welcoming New Volunteers to the Movement

As we continued our commitment to making volunteerism accessible to all Filipinos, we hosted another iteration of our signature “Start Your Adventure” online sessions. This welcoming initiative addressed a fundamental truth: the desire to serve is universal, but knowing where to begin can be daunting. Through this FREE virtual gathering, aspiring volunteers discovered practical pathways into meaningful service, learning how to navigate the iVolunteer platform, connect with causes that resonate with their passions, and understand the many ways they can contribute their Time, Talent, and Treasure.

The session featured inspiring testimonials from experienced volunteers, insights from partner NGOs, and actionable tips for making the most of every volunteering opportunity.

Coastal Clean-up: Strengthening environmental action

One of the most visible reminders of collective impact came during International Coastal Clean-up Day, where the public call to protect our shores was met with inspiring action. From the broader movement gathered at SM by the Bay to the volunteers mobilized through iVolunteer, the message was clear: environmental stewardship is a shared responsibility. Beyond the sacks collected and kilograms of debris removed, the deeper contribution was building a culture that encouraged Filipinos to reduce single-use plastics, be more mindful of waste, and show up not only during big events, but through daily habits that protect our seas.

Learning Series: Building the volunteer ecosystem

Behind every successful volunteer event is a system of partnerships, planning, and capacity-building and 2025 invested heavily in that foundation. From workshops that equipped volunteer leaders in Mindanao to learning sessions that helped NGO partners measure impact more effectively, iVolunteer’s work extended beyond mobilization into enablement.

Equally important were the “human” moments that keep partnerships strong. Kumustahan Sessions, Bayani Learning Series, partner meet-ups, and appreciation gatherings weren’t just nice-to-have events; they were part of how the ecosystem stays healthy. When partners are heard, challenges are surfaced early, and support becomes more responsive. In a sector where people are often stretched thin, these touchpoints help prevent burnout and keep collaboration grounded in trust.

Looking Ahead in 2026: The Work Continues

If 2025 proved anything, it’s that volunteerism grows when it’s nurtured through meaningful events, strong partnerships, learning opportunities, and clear pathways for people to participate. As we move further into 2026, the work continues with the same mission that has guided iVolunteer for years: connecting Filipinos who want to serve with causes that need them, and strengthening the ecosystem that makes service sustainable.

To every volunteer, partner NGO, corporate supporter, and community member who walked with us in 2025: thank you for helping turn compassion into action. The impact of your time, talent, and treasure doesn’t end with a calendar year. It carries forward—into new events, deeper partnerships, and the next chapter of Filipino volunteer power.
