Q3 Impact Report: Growing Together Through Service

As we close the third quarter of the year, we’re filled with gratitude and excitement reflecting on the incredible volunteer spirit that continues to flourish across the Philippines. This quarter brought meaningful milestones, powerful partnerships, and thousands of hands coming together to create lasting change. Here’s a look at how our community made a difference from July through September.

iVolunteer’s Q3 Impact Report

During Q3, iVolunteer Philippines continued to expand its reach and impact, mobilizing 2,433 dedicated volunteers who registered through the platform and connected with their preferred NGOs for meaningful community engagement. These passionate individuals contributed their time and skills across 317 volunteer events hosted by 26 partner NGOs, showcasing the growing momentum of the volunteer movement nationwide. Through these collaborative efforts, volunteers generated an impressive 120,406 volunteering hours, addressing critical needs across education, environmental conservation, health, and social welfare sectors. The quarter also saw generous supporters contribute 24,875 pesos in donations, further strengthening our collective ability to create positive change in communities across the Philippines.

A Legacy of Service: 16 Years Strong

This quarter, we celebrated a milestone that fills us with immense pride—16 years of iVolunteer Philippines! For over a decade and a half, we’ve had the honor of serving the Filipino volunteer sector, and this achievement belongs entirely to YOU—the thousands of extraordinary volunteers who have generously shared your time, talent, and treasure.

From the very beginning, our mission has been simple: to connect passionate Filipinos with opportunities to serve. What we’ve witnessed over these 16 years has been nothing short of remarkable. Every single hour you’ve contributed, from community clean-ups to disaster relief efforts, every has created a ripple effect of positive change that extends far beyond what we could have imagined.

You are the heart of this movement. You are the true heroes who prove that when Filipinos come together with a shared purpose, extraordinary things happen. Here’s to 16 years of Filipino volunteer power, and to many more years of service ahead!

Coastal Warriors Unite

International Coastal Clean-up Day this quarter showcased the incredible power of collective action. At SM by the Bay, an astounding 48,800 Filipinos gathered to protect our precious coastlines. This is a testament to the growing environmental consciousness across our nation.

We’re especially proud of the 124 volunteers who mobilized through iVolunteer Philippines, rolling up their sleeves and getting to work. Together, this dedicated group collected 60 sacks of waste, a staggering 524 kilograms of plastics, wood, and other debris that would have otherwise polluted our seas and harmed marine life.

The message was clear: “Tara! Linis Tayo!” Let’s keep protecting our seas, not just during special events, but every single day. Each of us can contribute by making conscious choices to reduce our use of single-use plastics. Small actions, when multiplied by thousands, create waves of change.

BayaniRun 2025: Every Step Counts

Runners at Bayani Run 2025

BayaniRun 2025 proved that volunteerism takes many forms. This wasn’t just another fitness event. It was a movement where every registered runner, every stride taken, and every volunteer working behind the scenes contributed to building a better future for communities in need.

The impact was truly remarkable. Through the combined efforts of 786 runners and countless event volunteers, BayaniRun generated over Php 191,000 in donations distributed across six outstanding NGOs, each championing vital causes:

Bantay Hayop Davao led the pack with 210 runners raising Php 53,250 for animal welfare. SOS Children’s Village received Php 44,640 from 230 compassionate runners supporting orphaned and vulnerable children. Our own iVolunteer Philippines was honored to receive Php 40,170 from 134 runners committed to expanding volunteerism nationwide.

Tambayan Center for Children’s Rights garnered Php 18,240 from 62 advocates for children’s empowerment. EGIP Foundation received Php 17,610 from 87 supporters of education and sustainable development. And the Philippine Eagle Foundation collected Php 17,370 from 63 conservation champions protecting our national bird.

BayaniRun 2025 beautifully demonstrated that building futures doesn’t always require grand gestures—sometimes it just takes lacing up your shoes and running with purpose.

Empowering New Volunteers

We know that taking the first step into volunteerism can feel overwhelming. Where do you start? What should you expect? How can you make the most impact?

That’s why we launched our “Start Your Adventure” online session this September 27th. This initiative was designed specifically for aspiring volunteers who feel the call to serve but aren’t quite sure how to begin. We shared practical guidance, insider tips, and real stories to help newcomers navigate their volunteer journey with confidence.

Because everyone’s volunteer adventure has to start somewhere, and we’re committed to making that first step as welcoming and accessible as possible.

Strengthening Partnerships Through Connection

In the rush of projects and deadlines, it’s easy to lose sight of what truly matters: the people behind the work. That’s why our Kumustahan Sessions with partner NGOs have become such a treasured part of our operations.

These sessions aren’t about metrics or deliverables—they’re about genuine connection. How are you? What’s working well? What challenges are you facing? What support do you need?

This quarter, we were deeply grateful to welcome 24 representatives from 13 partner NGOs who took time from their busy schedules to share space with us. The conversations reminded us that behind every initiative are real people with real stories and shared hopes for meaningful change.

These partnerships are the foundation of everything we do, and we’re honored to walk this path alongside organizations that pour their hearts into volunteerism every single day.

Fostering Collaboration and Celebrating Progress

In September, iVolunteer hosted a Partners’ Meet-up in Davao that brought together 23 representatives from 11 partner NGOs for a day of meaningful collaboration. The event featured a recap of our first-half achievements, inspiring volunteer testimonies, and important transparency reports including the Bayanirun ceremonial donation turnover and iVolunTree 2024 results. We also welcomed new partners and renewed existing partnerships, while announcing the upcoming iVolunTree 2025 initiative. This gathering exemplified the strong spirit of volunteerism that continues to drive our collective impact across Davao and beyond.

Looking Ahead

As we move into the final quarter of the year, we carry forward the momentum, lessons, and inspiration from these past months. Thank you for being part of this journey. Together, we’re building a culture of service that will shape the Philippines for generations to come.
