The second quarter of 2025 marked a period of remarkable growth and meaningful impact for iVolunteer Philippines, as the organization continued to bridge the gap between passionate volunteers and advocacies. From April through June, the platform witnessed unprecedented engagement, launched exciting new initiatives, and facilitated numerous opportunities for Filipinos to make a tangible difference in their communities.
iVolunteer’s Q2 Impact Report
During Q2, iVolunteer Philippines gathered a remarkable number of volunteers across the Philippines, with a total of 3,893 volunteers signing up through the website and partnering with their chosen NGOs for a variety of events. These volunteers participated in 317 volunteer events from 29 NGOs, demonstrating the organization’s ability to connect people with causes they care about. NGOs have been actively utilizing the platform to recruit volunteers, creating 68,418 volunteering hours that cater to diverse causes and initiatives. We also received donations amounting to 30,866 pesos.
Collaborating with AXA Philippines for Week for Good
This quarter, we were honored to collaborate with AXA Philippines for their inaugural “Week for Good,” a powerful corporate volunteering initiative designed to embed their “Everyone Matters” CSR theme into tangible action. From June 16th to 20th, 364 volunteers facilitated the engagement of AXA employees, transforming them into enthusiastic volunteers. These passionate individuals directly supported our NGO partners through a series of onsite activities held at AXA Philippines’ head office, demonstrating the profound impact that can be achieved when corporate commitment meets community needs.
Empowering NGOs through Bayani Learning Series
iVolunteer Philippines recently hosted the Bayani Learning Series: Measuring Social Impact, a highly productive session that brought together 38 individuals from 21 partner NGOs. The event provided a platform for attendees to share insights and best practices on measuring the effectiveness of social initiatives and programs. The enthusiasm and eagerness of participants to learn and grow were palpable, and we’re excited to continue this series with future topics that will further equip NGOs with the knowledge and skills they need to create lasting impact.
Celebrating Partnerships and Expanding Our Reach
Our commitment to building a robust volunteer network extends to actively engaging with our valued partners. This quarter, we proudly participated in several significant events, celebrating shared achievements and exploring new avenues for collaboration. We were deeply honored to be recognized by the Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation at their 15th-anniversary celebration for our steadfast support and meaningful partnership, a testament to the incredible work we achieve together in empowering children’s education.
Additionally, we attended the DSWD Partners Encounter, a pivotal gathering of NGO, corporate, and government stakeholders, which also saw the launch of their “Kaagapay” platform, a promising new initiative set to streamline donations and volunteering for DSWD-affiliated organizations.
Igniting the Volunteer Spirit with “Start Your Adventure”
On April 26, 2025, we hosted “Start Your Adventure,” a FREE online event designed to jumpstart or restart volunteer journeys across the Philippines. From 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, participants discovered the transformative power of volunteerism in an engaging virtual environment.
This comprehensive session provided attendees with practical insights into iVolunteer’s platform and how it supports their volunteering aspirations. Participants learned valuable tips and tricks for volunteering their Time, Talent, and Treasure effectively. The event also fostered connections, allowing volunteers to network and collaborate in a supportive virtual space.
One of the highlights was hearing inspiring stories from our partner NGOs, showcasing the real-world impact of volunteer efforts. We also addressed the upcoming mid-term elections, providing opportunities for civic engagement and meaningful participation in our democratic processes.
Safeguarding Democracy with “Tara, Boto Tayo!”
Democracy thrives when citizens actively participate, and our volunteers proved this during the May 2025 elections. From May 14-17, 618 dedicated volunteers joined forces with the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) to safeguard electoral integrity.
At the PPCRV Command Center, our volunteers played crucial roles in the Unofficial Parallel Count, demonstrating that election day extends far beyond casting ballots.
Planting Seeds of Hope in “Tara, Tanim Tayo!”
June brought us closer to nature and to our environmental responsibilities. On June 21, 2025, we organized an early morning tree planting activity in partnership with EGIP Foundation Inc. This special event celebrated EGIP’s 15th anniversary while literally planting seeds of hope for future generations.
The symbolism was powerful, as EGIP marked fifteen years of service, volunteers gathered to plant trees that would grow and flourish for decades to come. This activity embodied our commitment to the environment and demonstrated how volunteerism extends to caring for our planet.
Looking Forward
The second quarter of 2025 stands as a testament to the power of collective action. From supporting elections to planting trees, and from launching nationwide advocacy runs to empowering new volunteers, iVolunteer Philippines continues to nurture a thriving ecosystem of compassion and service. As preparations begin for more events in the coming months, the organization invites everyone to join the movement—because together, every act of kindness, no matter how small, creates ripples of change. Tara, volunteer tayo!
