A month ago iVolunteer celebrated its 15th Anniversary – 15 years of uplifting Filipino communities in need by inspiring people to volunteer. To commemorate the wonderful 15 years of volunteerism, the yearly iVoluntree for Christmas is going to be a bit more special this time. As iVolunteer reached its 15-year anniversary, it is helping 15 NGOs have their wishes granted. 15 wishes for 15 amazing years. Your role is as important as ever. It’s the time of the year again where you have the chance to grant a wish to a community who needs support. You can grant one, two, or more wishes as you like. No amount is too small. We welcome any amount that comes from the heart. For this, we hope you show your love and support for volunteerism by helping us grant their wishes.

Granting the wishes of these communities can be done in a few clicks! Just follow these steps:

2. Choose the NGO/s that you want to help by clicking their assigned gift box.
3. After clicking the gift box, you will be directed to another page. Look for the “Donate” button and click it. (Reminder: Make sure you are logged in to your iVolunteer account. If you don’t have an account yet, click https://www.ivolunteer.com.ph/register )
4. Type in the amount you want to donate and choose among the payment options provided. You can donate via credit card, BPI bank transfer or GCash. Follow the rest of the instructions as you go along and you’re done!

2KK Tulong sa Kapwa Kapatid Foundation empowers the youth in their partner communities through education. They organize activities which aim to teach the formation of good values to these young children. Through specialized educational programs, the organization strives to help these children tap into their leadership potential so that they will be the ones to lead their own respective communities in the future. Their programs encourage not only empowerment through education but also sustaining the cycle of giving back, and this Christmas you can also join in this cycle by granting their wish of providing Noche Buena packages to their supported communities.

Bantay Hayop Davao is passionate in helping animals, from the strays to the maltreated ones. Despite the struggle in funding, they persist in doing what they can for the dogs and cats. They look after their needs and also stand against animal cruelty. For this Christmas, they wish to have the dogs they care for be vaccinated and ready for adoption. Christmas Wish: Decodable books to be used in their reading classes in their supported schools in Metro Manila. These books will allow the students to develop the decoding habit that will lead to accuracy, fluency, and ultimately mastery.

This foundation has been implementing programs that help increase the literacy of kids from kindergarten through 3rd grade who are attending public schools. In the year 2022, the survey administered by the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) indicated that the Philippines ranks among the bottom ten lowest in reading comprehension out of 80 countries. Binhi is helping fight this learning poverty by teaching literacy skills using a systematic and evidence-based approach. You can support boosting literacy by helping the foundation provide decodable books to the schools they support. These books are specially designed to help students learn how to read by practicing letter-sound relationships.

For over 4 decades, Citizens’ Disaster Response Center Foundation, Inc. has advocated for community-based disaster management. They continuously serve the vulnerable sectors of the community during minor and major disasters through emergency relief, infrastructure repair, livelihood assistance, and much more. They offer not only a home but also holistic care. The youth in their care are currently studying in nearby government schools. A soup kitchen in Quezon City has been feeding the homeless since 2012. They operate every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The budget and fresh produce are shouldered by Karinderia ni Mang Urot and their volunteers. This Christmas they are requesting sacks of rice for their feeding program. You can help Karinderia ni Mang Urot continue their service to the hungry and homeless by granting their wish.

NACCI hopes for a future where everyone is working together to protect the environment and the livelihoods that are derived from it to secure a sustainable future. They offer ecotourism projects which educate people on environmental challenges and inspire them to join in the protection and conservation of nature. Mangrove tree planting is one of their main projects but they organize other projects such as workshops on nature awareness conservation, advocating against non-eco-friendly products, and many more. Their supported mangrove communities are in need of rechargeable batteries and fishnets. Help NACCI give this to them this Christmas.

Christmas Wish: Starlink for their Tondo community. Starlink is necessary in Helping Land, Tondo, to provide reliable and high-speed internet access for scholars, classrooms, and the Project PEARLS office, enabling efficient learning and operations in an underserved area.

Since 2010, Project PEARLS has been passionately helping the most disadvantaged and underprivileged children by providing them PEARLS: Peace, Education, Aspiration, Respect, Love, and Smiles. They hold various programs that support and empower the children and provide them a chance to break out of the poverty cycle. The organization also helps underprivileged communities through medical missions, livelihood programs, and emergency relief operations. This Christmas, Project PEARLS requests your help in giving their scholars and their office access to reliable internet. Granting this wish is going to be a big help in the children’s day-to-day learning and the overall operations of Project PEARLS in Tondo.

Sign Language Interpreters of Davao Region is dedicated to raising awareness on the rights of the deaf community. They empower the community by providing quality Filipino Sign Language (FSL) services and promoting an inclusive and equitable society for them. Christmas Wish: Children’s books and educational toys and other library materials for their first ever Community Library in Burdeos Quezon and Occidental Mindoro.

We Lift Club focuses on supporting the children in far-flung areas especially those from indigenous communities. Since these children don’t have access to proper education, the organization dedicates their time and effort in uplifting them by providing their educational needs. As these children live in remote areas such as the mountains and forests, they are also educated by the organization to protect nature and have more awareness and appreciation of the role of the environment in the livelihood of their community. We Lift Club’s wish this Christmas is to provide materials for their Community Library. Lend them a helping hand as they build the first libraries for the kids they support in Burdeos Quezon and Occidental Mindoro.
